Influence of Climatic Factors on Yields of Pistachio, Mango, and Bananas in Iran

The aim of this study was to investigate the impact climatic variables (minimum temperature, maximum average precipitation, and precipitation deviation) on yields pistachio, banana, mango in cold, hot–arid, hot–humid, temperate–humid climates using Just–Pope function. function is a relatively new approach context. most effective were identified by stepwise regression Feiverson algorithm. Data collected for period 1998–2020 tested stationarity. Finally, coefficients estimated three crops four climates. results showed that affecting pistachio yield different each type climate. Most warm dry areas, while cropping area, production trend, lag cold regions hot humid areas; deviation minimum lag, significant at 90% level. mango, banana temperature rainfall region-specific. Based results, 1% increase can up 0.032 ton/ha. As Iran experiences extensive fluctuations, horticulturists are faced with difficult conditions. Such practices as use cultivars resistant variations order alleviate risk orchards recommended.
